City of Loganville

Summary: Loganville straddles the county line dividing Gwinnett and Walton Counties (74% Walton, 26% Gwinnett). For 2005-2006, the city adopted a millage rate of 9.00, the same rate that it has adopted for at least the past six years.

This year, the mathematically-correct millage rate is 9.543.

The rate adopted by the City Council will fail to fully fund the 2005-2006 budget by as much as $140,000.
